The August 13th, 2016 The Biggest Loser Race Series Chicago Half Marathon in Illinois is a walker friendly event, and a great event for first time half marathoners.  The Race series is one of the most supportive half marathon series out there in the USA for back of the pack participants and first timers.  They "get it" when it comes to accepting the changes in the half marathon industry.  The industry has shifted to accepting all levels, abilities, and speeds, focusing on the finisher, and not the time. Admittedly (and unfortunately), there is still a big portion of the half marathon industry that aren't adapting to change, but The Biggest Loser Race Series is not one of them.

Humana Rock'n'Roll Chicago Half Marathon in Illinois

The Sunday July 17, 2016 Humana Rock'n'Roll Chicago Half Marathon in Illinois is a mostly flat course winding through the city of Chicago. Get Ready for March Half Marathons in Illiniois

Time for a little break from half marathons in Illinois unless you're traveling somewhere warm!  The next half marathons in IL aren't until the weekend of March 14th& 15th, when the half marathon season in Illinois gets busy.  The Chicago Get Lucky Half Marathon will take place on the 14th of March, and the March Madness Half Marathon in Cary, IL will take place on Sunday the 15th (if you're looking to dive right in, make it a double!).
